Wilderplaces Alpine is an Irish company specialising in adventure skiing, run by Robbie Fenlon, UIAGM mountain guide. We aim to cater for skiiers of all levels who are interested in expanding their skiing horizons. We’re based in the Chamonix valley and frequently run trips in Italy, Switzerland and further afield. Our trips and courses are run in a friendly and relaxed manner adapting itineries and teaching levels to suit your level of fitness and ability. The focus is on you, improving your skiing, learning to move safely around the mountains, and getting the most of this alpine winter playground!
In the summer we specialise in three main areas -classic walking tours, alpine training courses and classic alpine ascents.

UIAGM
All of our guides are UIAGM qualified. This means they have reached the highest international mountaineering qualification in guiding including; ski guiding, heli-skiing, rock climbing, alpine climbing and ice climbing throughout the world. Our guides as with all UIAGM qualified Mountain guides have been trained and assessed under internationally recognized standards. They have the highest qualification available in the world.
